Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the local satellite sites (Chelmsford, Norwood, Boston) with EHS culture and compliance

  • Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management system to exceed regulatory, corporate and industry requirements and support the ongoing compliance with ISO 45001 ISO14001 & RBA Standard.

  • Lead a high performing emergency response team: training, management, emergency response activities.

  • Interface with regulatory agencies, such as US EPA, MA DEP, MWRA, DHS, and OSHA as needed.

  • Carry out hazard analyses and risk assessments.

  • Support site staff in developing safe work plans for complex tasks involving both employees and contractors.

  • Manage EHS procedures and develop/present training.

  • Represent EHS requirements in technical design reviews of engineering projects.

  • Perform periodic evaluations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental permits, plans, policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Investigate the root cause of EHS-related events and ensure the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.

  • Present technical information to the management team and be the primary backup to the EHS manager.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes and skills:

  • A relevant degree in Science, Engineering or EHS

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification is preferred

  • Good knowledge of legal requirements and best practices in the field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with external agencies.

  • Knowledge of REACH, CLP, GHS and hazardous chemicals and chemical risk assessment

  • Analytical approach to problem solving

  • An interest in growing your career in a fast-paced work environment

  • An ability to influence and be a key force in a positive, proactive, and integrated EHS culture.

  • Previous experience conducting effective and engaging training.

  • Ability to be flexible in their work hours to ensure coverage for the 24/7 operations at the site. Some travel required.

  • Understanding of developing & using metrics to analyse data to allow better data driven decision making

  • Project management skills developing projects, building project teams and implementing projects in a systematic cost effective way on time and in budget

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce

  • Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State

  • Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position - except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) - may have to go through an export licensing review process.
