The position is located at our Manufacturing Facility in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides leadership in the development and implementation of management systems necessary to ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety requirements affecting the plant facilities and to evaluate and ensure their effectiveness over time.
Responsible to provide support and leadership in corporate-wide projects and initiatives intended to advance the environmental, health and safety policies and priorities.
Helps in the support of plant operations in achieving the key results in safety, quality, productivity and cost, through the support of new equipment, continuous improvement and cost savings projects involving safety matters.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education
5-7 years' experience
Knowledge of EHS/OSHA requirements including wastewater and safety programs
Project management skills a plus
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
Experience developing training materials
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience in obtaining and/or maintaining VPP status
