  • Assisting in coordination and preparation of reports.
  • Development and maintenance of a variety of safety plans & programs, including:
    • Hazard Communication (Hazcom/GHS) Program.
    • Energy Isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Program.
    • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
    • Respiratory Protection.
    • Confined Spaces.
    • Emergency Response Plans.
    • Process Safety Management (PSM)/Risk Management Planning (RMP).
    • Job Safety Analyses (JSA's).
    • Machine Guarding Assessments.
    • Industrial Hygiene Sampling.
  • Participate in and/or lead client safety committee meetings.
  • Provide on-site EHS support to a variety of clients.
  • Conduct EHS audits and support clients external audits.
  • Ensure our clients are in compliance with state, federal, environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety and health inspections and hazard and risk assessments.
  • Conduct industrial hygiene sampling, and safety and health training.


  • Bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety, or related discipline.
  • 6+ years experience in environmental health and safety.
  • Knowledge of hazard communication, LOTO, machine guarding, confined spaces, fall protection, job safety analysis.
  • Professional certifications: CSP, CHMM, CIH.
  • Ability to travel to client sites.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and observation ability.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and the ability to multi-task.
  • Work well independently as well as part of a team.
  • Be motivated to create and perform high quality work.

The right candidate will be self- driven, self-motivated, and have great communication skills both written and verbal. Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA without Sponsorship.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Submission Summary):

1. Bachelor's Degree in environmental health and safety, or related discipline.

2. Over 5 years of Consulting industry experience in environmental health and safety.

3. NOTE: Experience working on manufacturing sites will not work, they have to have consulting industry experience.

4. Knowledge of hazard communication, LOTO, machine guarding, confined spaces, fall protection; job safety analysis.

5. Ability to travel to client sites.

6. Professional certifications: CSP, CHMM, CIH. a plus.

Under the direction of the Corporate Health & Safety Manager, the Construction Safety Manager maintains a collaborative safety culture and monitors construction activities in accordance with corporate safety specifications and OSHA requirements. Assist in the development, coordination, and implementation of safety programs in the area of behavioral safety management, health, and training requirements. Ensure all safety incidents are investigated, well documented and actions are put in place to eliminate any further incidents from occurring. This position will support Heavy Site/Civil and Building Construction projects. If you are ready to take up these duties and responsibilities of a Construction Safety Manager, then apply right away. Responsibilities: * Visit job sites to conduct safety audits on personnel, equipment, and materials; * Evaluate, assess and alter safety procedures and policies for the benefit of employees and clients; * Analyze incident reports and evaluate injury case studies based on available facts; * Prepare and conduct safety training sessions for employees and vendors; * Ensure compliance with Loureiros safety programs all regulatory bodies and standards (including OSHA, EPA, etc.); * Research environmental regulations and policies and institute changes to ensure compliance; * Assist in injury and incident inquiries and evaluations; * Assist the Corporate H&S Manager in tracking incident metrics and applying findings; * Build working relationships with project staff and Subcontractor Safety Representatives; * Ensure proper pre-planning for all activities and tasks for subcontractors and trades; * Manage time and resource allocation appropriately to provide overall safety leadership to assigned project(s). Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in safety engineering, safety management, occupational environment health, industrial health, or related field beneficial; * Minimum 3 years on site construction safety environment; * Strong commitment to safety by providing the necessary safety training to all employees on the job sites; * Knowledge of Construction Safety and Health regulations, including OSHA construction regulations; * Experience working with Unions; * OSHA 30 hour construction training; * OSHA 40 HAZWOPER preferred; * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; * Prompt and accurate judgment with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise; * Excellent time management skills.
