As a Environmental Health and Safety Lead Professional, we'll count on you to:
Responsible for the site waste management program including .Inspects, moves, coordinates, tracks and appropriately monitors, documents and reports hazardous, non-hazardous, universal waste and bio-hazardous waste shipments.
EHS training presentation skills.
Ensures chemical inventories and Safety Data Sheets (SDS's), along with the site emergency response plans and reports, are current and accurate and prepares necessary regulatory.
Assists in emergency response and preparedness
Coordinates sampling, analysis, and permit compliance reports and permit renewals for submission to regulatory agencies including air, storm water and wastewater programs, hazardous substances.
Advises guides and assists with the implementation and management of energy conservation and recycling activities.
Assist in all aspects of incident management.
Assist in management of Safety Programs such as Lockout/TagOut, Confines Space, machine guarding, etc.
Administers Compliance Auditing Internal Programs and maintains routine hazardous identification inspections.
Responsible for completing all training requirements and maintaining 100% compliance with all assignments.
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Requires Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 2-3 years relevant progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in an environmental or safety and regulatory compliance experience, preferably in food, drug or cosmetic industry.
Requires experience with Federal, state, and local regulations relative to environment, health, and safety (OSHA, EPA, FL DEP, etc.).
Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) a plus
Experience with environment, health, and safety principles and programs, including development and implementation of such programs.
Storm water Pollution Prevention Plans, Sampling & Reporting procedures.
