Assesses the impact of emerging environmental issues, legislation, and regulations on company operations, and develops and implements appropriate compliance programs. Frequently works with regulatory agencies and environmental contacts both internal and external to Spirit. Coordinates and conveys information on developing legislation and regulatory programs by meeting with representatives of industry, regulatory agencies, government, and the public.

Conducts studies and performs analyses and calculations involving appropriate design, selection, installation, and operation of pollution control equipment, waste and chemical process systems, and remediation. Prepares permit applications and completes all monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting required for the facility. Integrates and assists in the development of company data management systems for environmental programs.

Develops, implements, and monitors environmental projects and programs ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and permits along with the mission, vision, and values of Spirit. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or other related field or equivalent experience.
