Job Description
The AECOM Remediation Practice is seeking an Environmental Engineer II to join our team based in Clifton, New Jersey. The successful candidate will work with a diverse team of technical leaders across a broad range of practice areas delivering professional consulting services to our key clients. This is a hybrid work model requiring 2-3 days per week in the office. This position also requires some fieldwork within the northeast United States region.
The successful candidate will join a large established team conducting environmental assessment and remediation projects across New York and New Jersey. This position requires excellent written and spoken communication skills, organizational and time management skills, flexibility to work on a range of projects, and a positive attitude. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and have the ability to work both independently and as a part of a project team.
The successful candidate will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts and project deliverables within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
3+ years of experience in remediation consulting completing environmental investigations and site remediation+ Experience with CERCLA and RCRA remediation programs at complex sites
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification+ Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, Bluebeam)+ Experience with construction documentation, construction management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00.
