Position Purpose:

We are currently looking for an Environmental Driver, non CDL driver. Under general supervision, performs routine and frequent manual and heavy labor tasks to properly treat, store, pack, transport and/or dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmentally responsible and cost effective practices, policies, and procedures.

Key Job Activities:

  • Offload household materials from vehicles onto carts

  • Identify materials and package per DOT and Stericycle requirements for off-site treatment

  • Follow and understand all Health & Safety /Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) procedures as outlined in the procedures and policies

  • Able to represent employer in a professional manner on and offsite

  • Operate fork trucks to move materials for storage loading and unloading(not required for all personnel)

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

VIEW JOBS 3/15/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-13T00:00 The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist Associate role will organize, analyze and manage EHS related compliance programs and information/data/reports. The EHS Specialist ASC must be able to network within the Kinder Morgan organization and support the Gulf Liquids Region in tracking, dispositioning and closing EHS related tasks to ensure compliance/efficiencies. The EHS Specialist Associate must be able to prioritize work tasks, facilitate centralization of EHS recordkeeping and assist the EHS Department in achieving compliance and driving continuous improvement of KM EHS policies/standards and systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Steward the effective operation of company EHS software tools (e.g., IMPACT, OpsInfo, SDS Vault and other Management Systems). Keep systems up-to-date and accurate. Analyze and report accurate data as requested by peers, supervisor and management. • Coordinates scheduling, participates and drives compliance with incident investigation processes/procedure(s) • Assist leadership staff in achieving financial excellence by tracking EHS costs and maintaining accurate EHS budget/spend reporting process • Organize and conduct EHS SCAT/IMPACT and EHS on-call training efforts. • Capable of recording and articulating EHS data with Regional staff as well as KM Corporate staff. • Lead the effort/process of tracking percent completion of new/revised EHS policy/procedure and Management of Change (MOC). • Participate in Terminal audit preparation including internal and 3rd party audits. • Provides functional support with regional EHS efforts such as EHS focus area campaigns, and the prescription eyewear and safety boot programs. Position Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as environmental science, engineering, accounting or finance preferred. Associate's degree and/or having relevant job experience may be considered. Competencies, Skills and Abilities: • Demonstrate work behavior and decision making consistent with Kinder Morgan Safety Quality and Environmental (SQE) Culture • Advanced MS Office Skills - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Examples of advanced MS Office skills include but are not limited to manipulation of large amounts of spreadsheet data using graphing, pivot tables and creating EHS specific templates. • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to network within the KM organization to support EHS effort • Adaptable to organizational change • Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), focus attention on details, follow work rules and adhere to established work schedules • Capable of adjusting work tasks according to areas that need immediate attention • Must be able to successfully and simultaneously manage multiple tasks, often under short or changing deadlines, in a diverse and fast paced environment • Participate in on-call rotation and take after hours phone calls as needed • Maintain valid TWIC, Texas driver's license and capable of driving KM vehicle • Travel to other field or corporate locations may be required depending on nature of ongoing work activities as much as 20%. • Position may be required to stand, walk, climb, etc. for extended period of time without injury • The employee must be capable of safely lifting or moving objects up to 30 pounds • Successful completion and passing of company drug screen and background check.
