Amotec is currently supporting a search for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager . Located in Tate County, MS, our client is a leading manufacturer in the construction materials industry. As EHS Manager , you will develop and oversee safety programs to ensure a compliant and safe work environment.

EHS Manager Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures in alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA). Lead the site’s EHS strategy, setting goals and objectives that integrate corporate and site-specific safety initiatives.
Conduct training for all employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and environmental compliance. Manage internal and external EHS audits, ensuring there are no significant business interruptions due to safety or compliance issues. Investigate incidents and accidents, providing recommendations for corrective actions and preventive measures.
Foster a culture of safety throughout the site by developing and leading EHS capability-building efforts. Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement. EHS Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field. 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry. Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS programs and regulatory compliance. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental standards preferred. Certifications such as CSP or CIH are a plus.
