Environment, Health And Safety Manager

Amotec is currently supporting a search for an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager . Located near Sturbridge, MA, our client is a leading industrial manufacturing company. As the EHS Manager , you will oversee and drive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives at a growing manufacturing site.

This pivotal role will report directly to the Director of Plant Management and will be responsible for ensuring that the site adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.

EHS Manager Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the EHS Management System, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, industry best practices, and corporate policies.

Ensure site-wide adherence to EHS standards through effective training and awareness programs for all personnel, visitors, and contractors. Lead the Site EHS Council, providing technical support and driving continual improvement in EHS practices. Implement and manage comprehensive EHS inspections, audits, and incident investigations to drive world-class performance and corrective actions.

Oversee site security, emergency planning, and response processes. Foster a behavioral-based safety culture, integrating safety as a core value across the site. Develop and execute a site-wide audit and inspection strategy to identify and address work hazards and exposures.

Provide regulatory training and create educational materials to enhance EHS knowledge and practices among employees and leadership. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety, enforcing plant-wide safety rules and regulations. Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Safety, EHS or business preferred. Minimum of 5 years in environmental, health and safety management in manufacturing. Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving organizational change and safety culture.
