MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by

an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education

Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of

Education (USDE). Major course work in Environmental Science, Biology,

Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Each year of

experience as described below in excess of the required five years

may be substituted for thirty semester hours from an accredited

college or university on a year-for-year basis.

2.Five years full-time, wage-earning experience identifying or

removing asbestos.

3.Two years full-time, wage-earning asbestos consultant experience.

4.Currently licensed as an Individual Asbestos Consultant by the

Texas Department of State Health Services or its successor(s).

Must maintain valid license(s) for continued employment in position.

The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will

be $3,763.20.

The following Military Occupational Specialty codes are generally

applicable to this position. Applicants must fully complete the

summary of experience to determine if minimum qualifications are met.
