Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. We have a position available in our Port Orange (Daytona Beach area) office for an entry-level engineer.
Responsibilities include preparing civil/environmental engineering design documents; preparing design computations, quantity/cost estimates and construction documents; visiting project sites during design and construction for design data collection and verification. The work will be overseen by a project manager for delivery of municipal water, wastewater and stormwater projects. Some travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, chemical, environmental or mechanical engineering; or be able to obtain the degree within six months of hire date.
The ideal candidate will have experience with of any/all of the following: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project software; construction phase experience; hydraulic and/or hydrology software; previous relevant internship experience. The ideal candidate will also have an EIT.
