Job Purpose

The Entry Rigger will perform various tasks in the yard and at work sites, while gaining valuable experience necessary to become a Crane Rigger. They will work under the direction of the manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational tasks in the yard and at work sites as directed.

• Maintain good communication with operators, supervisors and managers.

• Learn and adhere to Sterling Crane standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• No experience necessary.

• Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements.

• Strong work ethic with ability to follow directions.

• Team player with excellent communication skills.

• Ability to learn math applications necessary for rigging.

• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.

• Must be willing to follow safety procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Employee will be required to have the capability to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit and lift daily.

• Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 65lbs.

• Most be able to work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE.

• Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects and or materials.
