AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Water/ Waste Water Engineer for employment in the Greenwood, Colorado (Denver) office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Builds analytic and design skills.

  • Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an

experienced engineer.

  • Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

  • Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.

  • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or related field

  • Educational emphasis on hydraulic systems, water treatment, wastewater treatment, or similar fields

  • Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (CAD, GIS, hydraulic analysis, process modeling)

  • Must possess a valid driver license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

  • 0-2 years relevant experience

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or ability to obtain within 12 months of ire

  • Capable of supporting multiple projects at a time and meet project schedules

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software

  • Technical experience related to water/wastewater process engineering or hydraulic analysis
