Haley Ward is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in creating detailed drawings and plans based on the specifications provided by engineers and architects. This role involves using computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate drawings for various construction projects.

What you can expect to be doing:

• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements.

• Produce detailed drawings and plans using CAD software.

• Ensure designs meet industry standards and project specifications.

• Prepare and maintain engineering drawings and other documentation. Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.

• Assist in project coordination and communication with internal teams.

• Occasional field surveys

What you will need to succeed:

• Associate degree in drafting (or equivalent technical degree). Proficiency in common CAD design applications is expected. Proficiency in 3D modeling like Revit is a plus. A test in AutoCAD and/or Revit may be conducted.

• Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Working knowledge and familiarity of steel and concrete structural system design, layout, and construction. Willingness to learn and grow in the field of structural drafting.

• Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required
