Hexagon is seeking entry level software developers to join our Product Development center. Under general supervision, the Software Developer will perform assignments of moderate complexity in the development of Company software products.
Assignments will be in one or more of the following areas: designing and writing compilers, assemblers, user interfaces, databases, graphic tools, network communications and/or application software for related markets. May write test plans for certifying new software. May conduct tests on new software.
Assignments require the use of independent judgment and the application of programming/software principles, theories and concepts. Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor and other professionals in the group. May have interaction with personnel outside of the Company.
Will perform other reasonable and related duties.
A completed Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other technical field is required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of software development practices
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
