Job Description

This position will be responsible for helping to identify and execute specific strategies to grow sales and market share in the Philadelphia area. Individual will develop relationships with existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new market opportunities. Objective will be to sell all products within the scope of the dealer and Food Equipment Group responsibilities to achieve overall sales plan and personal objectives. The expectation is to learn, understand, and effectively convey features, benefits, and value proposition for all ITW FEG products while working the assigned PA market with the team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate growth of Hobart, Traulsen & Baxter products to the Foodservice community.

  • Participate in creation of sales plan(s) and targeted initiatives with Territory Sales Managers.

  • In support of sales plans, develop relationships and drive activity through consultants, foodservice dealers, and/or end user customers.

  • Foster entire sales-cycle process, including receipt of purchase order and processing through appropriate Order Entry / Customer Care representative.

  • Coordinate delivery, installation, and demonstration to meet customer requirements.

  • Submit timely reports on sales activity, competitive activity, and market conditions.

  • Participate in seminars, customer trade shows, and factory trainings.

  • Maintain knowledge of all products and place emphasis on selling all lines.

  • Conduct all activities in keeping with company policies and procedures.

  • Conduct and maintain customer CRM and sales lead portfolio

  • Work in conjunction with Hobart Service to ensure a very positive post-sale customer experience.

  • Work independently in territory while engaging with senior Territory Sales Managers for guidance.

  • Must be willing to travel within assigned territory

  • Advancement opportunities may require relocation

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor degree in business, culinary, or related field(s) or equivalent foodservice industry experience

  • 1+ years of field selling experience, working directly with dealers, end users or in other business-to-business environments

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CRM Software Experience preferred

  • Auto quotes

  • Excellent short-term, mid-term, and long-term ability to set goals, prioritize, and manage time.

  • Consultative problem solver and very strong communicator.

  • Ability to create and execute impactful sales presentations for small and large groups.

  • Ability and willingness to work as a team on common goals, and to work towards total team development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Promote and sell Stryker Endoscopy products within approved indications for use. * Understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations and rules set forth by Federal, State and Local governmental authorities including, but not limited to: reporting of device complaints, accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions and other reports determined by Stryker policy, and the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute. * Understand and comply with the Code of Ethics and company policies. * Understand and comply with applicable customer policies, HIPAA, and vendor requirements. * Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel about the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Products. * Direct product evaluations in OR and office settings while adhering to OSHA, Hospital, and other pertinent guidelines * May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings. * Keep regional manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis. * Solve product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion. * May assist in the training and development of sales personnel. * Manage, maintain and complete reports about product inventory. * Exhibit a base understanding or ability to learn and operate software programs such as Microsoft Office and Oracle Sales Information System. QUALIFICATIONS: * 2-5 years in an outside sales position (medical related fields is preferable). * B.A. or B.S. degree required. * Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. * Must be able to communicate with large groups of people. * Must be able to communicate telephonically and with electronic means (i.e., email texts, etc.). * Must be able to use common office equipment (e.g. fax, modem, calculator, PC, etc.). * Up to 20% overnight travel annually. * Must be able to drive an automobile. * Must be able to routinely negotiate price and terms of transactions between Stryker and its customers. * Must be able to readily solve customer complaints. * Must have fundamental understanding of all products and be able to disseminate this knowledge to the customer. * Able to analyze and prioritize market potential-based call patterns. * Excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.
