  • "Smiles and Says Hi!" Greets all customers and associates, assists in a friendly, courteous manner and adheres to the "Yes We Can" policy efficiently resolving customer's questions and requests

  • Consistently uses the 5 step GREAT program while interacting with customers: Greets and Engages Customer, Requests Credit, Explains Savings, Asks to Complete the Survey and Thanks the Customer

  • Able to learn and adapt to current technology to assist customer needs

  • Delivers the highest level of customer service through effective problem solving

  • Solicits, opens and activates Kohl's Charge applications and loyalty programs

  • Ensures that all cash handling procedures are done in accordance to policy and procedure

  • Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers

  • Flexible and willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store, as needed



  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis

  • Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving about the departments. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis

  • Adherence to Kohl's policy and procedures

  • Regular attendance

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting and attention to detail

  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others


  • Prior retail experience

  • Comfortable with the use of technology consistently while performing the required tasks

VIEW JOBS 11/26/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-02-24T00:00 The Level 2 Underwriter will initially be 100% engaged in a 10-week underwriting training program that will encompass critical aspects of mortgage loan underwriting including but not limited to: required standard and/or alternative loan file documentation ; credit analysis; calculation and acceptability of income and assets; appraisal analysis; other related loan file documentation. The candidate is expected to actively participate in all required training and demonstrate underwriting proficiency by achieving satisfactory scores on competency exams and loan file case-studies. Upon successful completion of the training program, the candidate will be assigned to underwrite low-to-medium complexity conforming loans to GSE and/or Investor guides in-house or as part of a lender-specific team. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Review and analyze credit and collateral documents to ensure compliance with lender, GSE, and Radian guidelines as applicable to provide timely, prudent decisions to lenders. Adherence to underwriting approved loan products and programs is required. * Achieve Radian underwriting quality, productivity, and service level goals. Comply with all established policies and procedures. * Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers. Demonstrate effective communication skills to maintain positive relationship with Radian lenders, employees and departments. * Other duties as assigned. Job Specifications Knowledge: * The Level 2 underwriter needs to possess basic knowledge and understanding of conforming loan underwriting and GSE guidelines, as well as a working knowledge of MS Office. * Must be detail-oriented and able to become proficient in multiple computer systems and software. * Five years processing or three years junior underwriting experience with customer-facing experience preferred. Skills and Abilities: * The successful candidate for this position must be motivated to grow their mortgage underwriting knowledge and acquire the ability to work independently, analyze complex loan scenarios, and render quality loan decisions. * They must be highly organized with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail oriented, technologically savvy, and comfortable learning new computer systems and software. Must possess excellent customer service skills.
