Entry-Level Modeling And Simulation Analyst.

Torch Technologies is currently seeking an Entry-Level Modeling and Simulation Analyst. This position will provide simulation based analysis and engineering support for tactical missile systems.

Primary duties will consist of simulation development, simulation execution, analysis tool development, and system performance analysis. This analysis will guide system design and development, tactics development, and lifecycle support of the missile system. Candidate will develop documentation and/or presentation of findings, flight test support, and work within a collaborative team environment composed of Government and contractor personnel.

• Familiarity of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is desired.

• Programming skills and experience with Fortran, Ada, C/C++, Matlab, Python, and Linux are desired. This is not primarily a software development position.

• Previous experience with aerodynamics, propulsion systems, control systems, sensors, six degrees of freedom, Monte-Carlo techniques, test planning and execution, configuration management, or verification/validation of models will be beneficial to the candidate.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher is required in engineering or other related science and 0-2 years' experience. This position requires a final DoD secret security clearance to access classified information. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.

• The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• The ability to react quickly to changing engineering challenges and mission requirements is required.

• The candidate must be proficient in written/verbal communication.
