Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer

An Entry Level Mechanical Engineer job in Rockford, IL is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time, direct position with full benefits. In this role, you will initially be writing engineering changes, responding to supplier requests, writing deviations, and closing quality notifications. Job Duties:

Entry Level Mechanical Engineer job duties:

• Writing deviations and engineering changes

• Driving closure of supplier requests for information

• Quality notification investigations

• Handle notice of potential quality escapes support

• Review manufacturing drawings to ensure form, fit, and function

• Potential to participate in the design cycle of mechanical subsystems, which may include conceptual and detailed design, trade studies, development testing, and qualification

• Work within a team environment to achieve the desired project goals and ensure assigned tasks are completed on time and with technical excellence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor"s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

• 0 to 2 years of experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc

• Due to the nature of the job, U.S. Citizenship is required

Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $58,240 to $66,560 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
