Orion Industries, a Boeing supplier of the year, has a great opportunity for a mechanically inclined employee to join its team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician. As part of the day shift, you work independently assembling smaller aerospace parts and other related items. If you love working with your hands sealing, bonding, drilling, countersinking, riveting, using pneumatic and hand tools, and completing electrical bonding, this might be the perfect fit for you!

The ideal candidate will:

  • Manufacturing experience utilizing various machines and processes

  • Two years of relevant manufacturing experience

  • Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications

  • Demonstrated shop math skills

  • Possess or acquire tools needed to accomplish work objective

  • Organizational ability

  • Problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as collectively

  • Customer service skills; able to relate well to all internal and external customers

  • Ability to provide on-the-job training or mentoring

  • Have experience reading blueprints

  • Have the ability to handle intermittent interruptions and prioritize work duties

  • Enjoy having a fast paced and structured work day and work functions

  • Be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day

This is a full time position working Monday through Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm.
