Aveanna Healthcare is looking for a Client Service Coordinator. The Client Service Coordinator will manage the Nurse/Client relationship to determine the nurses' skill set and demeanor needed to provide the utmost care to the client and client family.

Responsible for implementing and maintaining compliance with all State, Federal, and Company standards for Health Care Staff, employee process, responsible for recruitment, screening of employees, hiring process, and reactivation of all external/field employees. Responsible for collaborating with clinical supervisor in performance management of the nursing staff.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a current awareness of the abilities and limitations of each field/external staff member. Demonstrates good managerial judgment in assigning duties appropriate to each individual.

  • Consistently counsel field/external staff members to provide exceptional customer service.

  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge and adherence to the policies and procedures of Aveanna, holds nurses accountable for carrying out all non-clinical policies and procedures as outlined in the manuals.

  • Maintains an active involvement in issues of cost containment; effectively utilizes nurses when assigning cases.

  • Demonstrates an ability to identify and solve problems; uses initiative and good judgment to reach quality decisions.

  • Demonstrates an active and positive role in evaluating staff performance, Participates with the Clinical Supervisor in performance management of the nursing staff

  • Demonstrates an ability to communicate effectively and express ideas clearly and actively listens.

  • Maintains an excellent rapport with clients and caregivers and effectively promotes harmonious interpersonal relationships.

  • Provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, continually monitoring and thoroughly evaluating the services given to clients associated with Aveanna.

  • Assist in provision of orientation for new staff members.


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • College Degree preferred

Duties may include transaction matching, data entry, and resolving any data issues. Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Ensures integrity of client database by: * Maintain electronic files and processing folders * Prepare remittance advice for data entry. Research missing information. * Identify discrepancies in remittances and either resolve or report within a timely manner. * Manually key payment batches from remittance advice with 99% accuracy. * Complete balancing routine on each keyed remittance. * Confirm the accuracy of remittance keyed within the system. * Enter notes for client into the system for missing information as needed. Follow HIPAA policies and procedures per company guidelines Performing special projects and other duties as assigned by management III. Minimum Requirements: Skills are typically acquired through: * One to three years of related experience involving computer-related, data/entry work * Education: Requires a high school diploma, a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience necessary to perform the responsibilities of the position. Required Ability To * accurately perform alpha/numeric data entry * 10 key by touch – 8,000 KPH * utilize computer equipment * operate various office machines (printer, fax, copier) * take accurate messages * speak in a clear and understandable way * maintain files and records * organize tasks and time to ensure timely completion of all projects * adhere to prescribed routines and practices * draft routine correspondence * work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions Required Knowledge of: * computer terminals and printers * basic typing/keyboarding * general office practices and procedures * proper use of spoken English language * basic English composition * intermediate level proficiency using MS Word and Excel * computer systems and report generation (AS400 experience highly preferred) The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the major job responsibilities (essential functions) of this job.
