Entry Level Machinist

Groundworks is seeking an Entry Level Machinist to join our tribe in Columbia, SC!

In this role, you will be a key player in both production and innovation as we improve efficiency and expand our business.

You will assist the Machinist to fabricate tools, fixtures, and components from raw materials by operating lathes and other metal turning/drilling/milling equipment safely and efficiently.

Pay & Schedule

• $18-22/hr, depending on experience and skill level

• Mon-Fri, 6am-4pm schedule

Job Responsibilities

• Machining such as using a lathe & vertical mill

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in machining

• Experience with manual machining and/or CNC

• Safety skills

• Previous experience working in warehousing and/or fleet management environment(s)

Requirements

• Full-time

• Onsite in Columbia, SC

• GED or high school diploma

• Valid, non-restrictive driver's license.

• Ability to procure OSHA certification
