Entry Level Light Duty Mechanic

Detailed Description

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspections

• Conduct basic diagnostics and repairs on light duty vehicles

• Assist senior mechanics with more complex repair tasks

• Maintain a clean and organized work enviornment

• Follow all safety procedures and protocols

• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and explaining repairs when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.

• Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completed coursework in automotive repair or a related field.

• Previous experience in an automotive repair shop (internships or part-time work).
