Job Summary

Brown & Brown in Bethlehem, PA is looking for an Insurance Assistant to join our commercial lines department. You will support our client servicing efforts of the account managers within the department. You will report to the Property & Casualty Division leader. This is a full-time, benefits eligible opportunity! This is an excellent start to a career in insurance!

Responsibilities:

  • Process daily mail, including faxes and email.

  • Enter all required data into system to maintain current file data on accounts and expiration records.

  • Prepare and process binders of insurance, policies, and endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits and cancellations as defined in the company procedures manual.

  • Maintain working relationship with the company underwriters.

  • Monitor and follow up with clients regarding recommendations.

  • Communicate with company underwriters regarding actions taken by clients.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

  • 2+ years experience in an office environment.

  • Current Property & Casualty Insurance License, or willingness to obtain
