Title: Associate Consultant
Role: Health Information Technology
Location: San Diego,CA

Syntel is hiring health information technology associate to be trained and deployed on a prestigious integrated health system in San Diego CA. All necessary training on healthcare systems will be jointly provided by highly experience trainers from Syntel and our client.

Responsibilities include:

Working on health information technology (Electronic Health Record Systems) projects throughout the planning and implementation and support cycles.

Requirement gathering, analysis, configuration and testing during implementation and post implementation support

Data analytics

Work closely with clients/customers to ensure alignment on project solutions.

Use Syntels best practices with that of our client.

Works with business facing analysis to determine and translate business requirements into technology solutions.

Qualifications include:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in a Health Information Systems or related field.

Demonstrate analytical skills

Excellent verbal communication and written skills.

Knowledge and experience of gathering data for requirements and use case development.
3.0 or higher GPA

Excellent judgmental, interpersonal, communication skills and follow-through.

Must have experience manipulating health information systems.

Experience in healthcare

Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabrication and characterization of ultra-high precision, millimeter scale components in support of Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) and High Energy Density (HED) experiments. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: * Fabricates and characterizes high precision, millimeter scale components with sub-millimeter scale precision for cutting edge experiments at the OMEGA and NIF laser facilities. * Provides detailed documentation that supports High Energy and Density plasma physics by National Labs and Universities. * Summarizes data for internal and external reports, with the opportunity to present at workshops and conferences. * Utilizes substantial metrology activities to characterize product, include but are not limited to optical microscopes, AFMs, interferometers, elemental analysis and x-ray based imaging. * Ability to organize data and suggest a course of action or test plan when necessary. * Revises work procedures for accuracy and content and amends procedures to improve yield, efficiency, and quality of the product. * Investigates and implements higher efficiency techniques such as process automation and image analysis routines. * Carries out other duties as required, including but not limited to laboratory organization, laboratory and safety inspections, equipment installation and/or preventative maintenance. * Performs other duties as assigned or required. Job Qualifications * Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a scientific or related discipline such as material science, chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering. Equivalent scientific experience may be substituted in lieu of education. * Experience with automation or analysis software such as LabVIEW or Matlab is highly desired. * Understanding of mass spectrometry, x-ray fluorescence and other analytical techniques is highly desired. * Must demonstrate a basic understanding of scientific concepts, principles, and theory and the ability to follow and apply basic scientific knowledge, adapt standard techniques, and utilize the required diagnostics, tools and equipment, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. * Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment. * Good communication, computer, and interpersonal skills are required, enabling an effective interface with other professionals, the production of appropriate documentation, and the presentation of results to a limited internal audience. * Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team and able to work extended hours as required.
