Entry Level GPS System Engineer

BAE Systems is looking for a Systems Engineer with a passion for engineering and the desire

to be part of an innovative, dedicated team responsible for industry-leading Global Positioning Systems (GPS) products. Our team needs engineers interested in architecting, designing, and developing system designs for real-time embedded GPS receivers for military ground, airborne, and weapons applications. This position offers abundant opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge of GPS technology and receiver architecture, and to apply that knowledge in a team effort to develop our Modernized GPS receiver products.

Specific responsibilities of this position span all phases of system product development including: system requirements analysis, definition, and validation; system architecture design; system requirements allocation; system integration and requirements verification testing; system modeling and simulation; coordination among systems, hardware, ASIC and software design functions; and developing systems related documentation. Senior engineers will be available to provide mentoring to develop your skills as a system engineer and to increase your depth of knowledge in GPS technology.
