Entry Level Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description Job Description What we need: Our growing practice is looking to add a new position that will help us grow our business while maintaining the same culture that helped us get to this point.

This person will help in all facets of the operation, taking many responsibilities over from the main principles to allow them to continue to work on growth and scaling the business. As an Operations Specialist, you will be working IN the business, having accountability and ownership over the business operations; ensuring that our current and future customers remain the top priority by delivering a consistent, predictable journey throughout the entire process, leaving no doubt as to why they trusted some of their most important assets to Agua Fria Financial Group. We are looking for someone who is not only capable of fulfilling the job duties requires, but also wants to partner in our growth while also owning their role in making that happen.

Job duties: • Fosters a culture of excellence and forward thinking • Develops and Leads existing office staff to ensure business objectives are met • Assist in setting business objectives for the operation • Ensures all transactions, new business and follow throughs are completed timely • Manages budget throughout the year • Month, Quarter, and Yearly financials balanced. • Obtain appropriate licensing including State Life and Health Licenses, Series 7 and Series 65 or 66 Securities Licenses. Training Materials provided. • Builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Identify opportunities to grow the business, including mining current opportunities on the book and scheduling where needed and assigning those opportunities where needed. • Work with staff to plan marketing events • Manages donation and sponsorship opportunities to maximize exposure and community impact • Ability to fill in for principals on an occasional client meeting, when needed. • Follow up on customer employee meetings for larger commercial accounts • Perform various operational activities to meet business objectives, client needs, and maintain overall service levels partnering with existing team members, and professional relationships. Skillset/Qualifications: • Obtain FINRA Securities Licenses, along with Life and Health • Strong “customer first” mentality • Strong communicator- Verbal and written • Problem solver, no job is not my job type of person • Ability to work additional hours when needed to meet deadlines and client needs • Collaborative • High EQ • Self-Motivated and independent worker Company Description Who we are:
