Amwins is looking for an Entry Level Brokerage Assistant (internally titled Technical Assistant) in Scottsdale, AZ. Join our team as a Entry Level Brokerage Assistant in Scottsdale, AZ! This position is in-office with a hybrid schedule after 90 days of training. None of our positions are commission based or require cold calling of any kind.
Each employee is a vital member of our production teams, providing:
Submission clearance (setting up electronic files for new and renewal business submissions)
Assist marketing personnel with electronic filing of correspondence relating to accounts
Coordinate the request and delivery of loss runs to proper parties
Solicitation of renewal accounts including delivery of notices and reminders
Process bind requests as directed by Brokers
Follow up for outstanding open items and subjectivities including policies while ensuring binders remain in effect
Assist in collecting and processing surplus lines documentation in compliance with regulations
Review policies and endorsements for accuracy, request necessary changes and deliver final issuance to proper individuals
Coordination and collection of Non-Disclosure Agreements
Preparation and delivery of requested Certificates of Insurance, when applicable
Processing of Broker of Record letters
Invoicing of bound accounts including any additional premiums or return premiums generated during Policy Periods
Assist in accounting inquiries including past due payment and invoice discrepancies
Handle operational inquiries as needed
Assist the team with general day-to-day responsibilities and participate in various special projects as needed
Other duties as assigned
We are looking for people with:
Minimum 1 year experience as support staff in an office environment
Strong problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer skills including typing proficiency
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Innate organizational skills, willingness to take on challenges, and focus on personal responsibility
