As an Entry Level Automotive Technician, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service.

Shift Information: Depending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays

  • Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or Previous formal automotive training

About the Role: What skills will you learn?

  • How to complete basic automotive services like mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filters replacements, and more

  • Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional automotive services.

  • Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles

  • Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations

  • Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation

  • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting

We prefer Contractors to be available to work a minimum of twenty hours per week where work is available. <strong>Successful candidate must be willing to travel within a 35-50 mile radius from city location.  </strong><strong>Geographic Location:  <span><span calibri",sans-serif"="">Huntsville, AL</span></span></strong><strong>Job Duties and Responsibilities:  </strong><ul><li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Conduct federal background investigations in compliance with all laws, and other required federal agency regulations.</li><li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Conduct in-person, one-on-one subject interviews to obtain factual information about the individual's background and character, in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.</li><li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Obtain factual information from a variety of personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation, containing all pertinent facts, of an individual's background and character, in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.</li><li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility to conduct investigations at various places of employment, residence, and education institutions when cases become available.</li><li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Engage in dialogue on a regular basis with managers and representatives at contractor facilities, various U. S.
