Entertainment Wardrobe Coordinator

The Gig:

The Wardrobe Entertainment Coordinator is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who supports all facets of the Virgin Voyages' Wardrobe Operation with a focus on stitching related to cast changeovers, workshops, maintenance and other business needs taking place in the Virgin Voyages' Rehearsal and Training Facility located in Orlando, FL, onboard our Lady Ships and at other locations as needed. This role also assists with organization and strategy of work room projects.

What You'll Be Up To:

Stitching

• Acts as lead stitcher for all shows, parties, and other events

• Oversees work quality of other stitchers

• Mentors and teaches stitchers when they need further guidance

• Creates daily work list for the stitching team and delivers feedback to them in a timely manner in order to ensure alterations are completed within any applicable deadline

• Manages inventory of all wardrobe supplies and works with Specialist, Entertainment Production to restock

Work Room Coordination & Admin

• Builds spreadsheets and Google Forms for various purposes and projects as needed to help in the collection and organization of data

• Updates and cross references show bibles to ensure purchasing links to all items are viable

• Works with Specialist, Entertainment Production to catalogue and organizes receipts and invoices associated with procurement, and complete expense reports that tie to various budget lines

Wardrobe Ops Support

• This position will be based out of Virgin Voyages' Rehearsal and Training Facility located in Orlando, FL and will have scheduled working hours in that location a minimum of five days per week and at other locations as needed

• Partners with Supervisor, Wardrobe Operations to support wardrobe operations across the fleet

• Assists with wardrobe fittings

• Helps with receiving wardrobe goods, processing deliveries, cataloguing arrival of items, and organizing, sorting, packing, and consolidating for shipment to the requesting vessels

• All other duties as assigned

SuperPowers Required:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a wardrobe stitcher role

• 2 years' experience in cruise entertainment industry is preferred

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

• Rock-solid organization and prioritization skills. Must know how to stay organized and determine which tasks are the most important in a given list

• Knowledge and experience in using key business tools (Google Apps, Word, Excel, PPT, etc)

• Resilience for changing priorities and urgent requests

• Valid driver's license and passport

• Proactive and unafraid to seek out tasks and offer a helping hand

• Work well under tight deadlines and with crew members from all over the world

• Great energy and attitude of optimism

• Thrive on working with a group of fellow all-star crew, while being yourself

• Desire & ability to work in an office environment, frequently outside of normal business hours, and on weekends
