Pratt & Whitney's Digital Technology (DT) group is responsible for ensuring 24/7/365 operation of all Pratt & Whitney's Information Technology assets. The team is looking for an accomplished technical leader with extensive experience in enterprise storage architecture. An in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, permissions management, and storage management toolsets is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage Pratt & Whitney's vendor led programs for all storage systems

  • Identify, analyze, and recommend strategic storage technologies based on an understanding and anticipation of business requirements and opportunities

  • Work with business partners to design specific solutions that meet the needs of the business

  • Optimize delivery of storage requests and projects, by identification and documentation of technical and business requirements in a timely, cost effective, and integrated manner

  • Develop, lead, and be responsible for meeting storage budgets (including cost savings)

  • Act as point person for any storage related issues

  • Provide in-depth root cause analysis when necessary

  • Perform other duties and special projects as required

You will be required to collaborate extensively with Networking, Messaging, and Cloud Architects to deliver their projects on time and on budget. The position requires strong teamwork and communication with outsourced IT partners, customers, senior management, security & compliance officials and other members of the DT organization. A strong interest in continuing to learn and remain on the forefront of state of the art technologies is essential.
