Currently, our Global Tools & Storage Division is searching for a results-driven Enterprise Solutions Specialist Industrial to lead all phases of operations across their stable brands within the Seattle/PAC NW market.
Scope / Responsibilities:
As an Enterprise Solutions Specialist - Industrial you will have responsibilities for developing and implementing a market strategy focused on growing market share with the largest End Users and trade unions. As an Industrial Specialist, you will focus on developing long-term partnerships with the largest Manufacturing, Industrial Maintenance and Transportation companies in your market and across the U.S., in order to generate a preference for Stanley Black and Decker products and services. You will also have the unique responsibility of deploying our Government strategy in the local market, engaging with DOD Installations/Bases and GOVT OEM partners alike.
As an Enterprise Solutions Specialist you will generate interest in the brands, uncover customers' needs for application-based solutions and training, and provide outstanding service in connecting the customer to our distributor partners and product service centers. The end result of your work is to move the End Users in your region from "Awareness" to "Loyalty" for the Stanley Black & Decker brands.
Required Skills & Background
Bachelor's Degree required (Business Management or Engineering preferred); Master's Degree preferred
Minimum 5+ years of direct sales or distribution sales experience with experience selling to high-level executives, C-Suite, and jobsite directors. Must have the ability to build relationships and work effectively with all levels of an organization to drive strategy, influence owners and generate revenue.
Experience in Industrial Direct or Indirect Sales (AEROSPACE, Rail/Transportation, Oil&Gas or GOVT) preferred. Experience selling Hand Tools, Storage and MRO Materials preferred.
Capability to meld empathy with a rock hard determination to achieve outstanding results. Skilled at building and aligning a local strategy to the overall strategic plan of the group and holding yourself accountable for the failures while celebrating your successes with the team.
Ability to collaborate with the appropriate internal team members to resolve problems that arise with the end users and distribution partners in your region.
Ability to teach and mentor your local market team on the process of End User development: who to contact (trade associations, safety personnel, engineers, quality managers, general managers, line supervisors, chief mechanics, purchasing, etc.), how they execute the purchasing process (central and facility), and how to align their efforts with the local market teams, product managers, local distributors, and service centers.
Exhibit a thorough knowledge of managing and executing a budget for your region in order to stay within the developed forecast and allocation.
Maintain and use SalesForce.com as a CRM and Planning tool. Communicate successes and failures in a timely fashion in order to develop a more streamlined process and future plan for success with key accounts and opportunities.
Ability to mentor, collaborate with, and communicate a market development plan to each local team member and update the regional managers of our National Accounts and I.C. Field Sales teams with your Monthly/Quarterly execution strategy.
Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite and use of a smartphone
