V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking an Enterprise Service Bus Systems Administrator for our premier client in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a full-time, direct hire position in the healthcare industry.

WHAT YOULL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications
Knowledge of DoD, NIST, and CMSR security requirements and audit responses

Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Information Technology related field
Specialized coursework and/or vendor training courses in assigned operating system specialty
4 + years in information systems performing system administration
In-depth knowledge of the Linux platform in support of installation and troubleshooting of application installations
Demonstrated knowledge of frameworks and development methodologies to support Application Development
Familiarity with currently used deployment automation packages (Puppet, BigFix, etc.)

WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities
Provides planning, analysis, implementation and testing of complex operating system software upgrades or new releases and assess any impact to other software products being utilized
Provides planning, analysis, implementation and testing of COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) software upgrades or new releases
Interfaces with appropriate staff or vendor during installation and in resolution of any problems
Provides technical expertise in the analysis and resolution of complex problems and takes appropriate action to ensure maintenance of stated performance objectives to maximize system availability and minimize response time
Determines backup/recovery requirements and ensures integration with disaster recovery procedures
Provides appropriate documentation/reports to management
Performs capacity/performance analysis, problem analysis, testing and tuning to ensure efficient use of resources. This includes the development of appropriate reporting
Perform product evaluations including recommendations as to applicability to said client
Provides comprehensive on-call support for assigned operating system(s) and software products in event of production malfunctions
Analyzes, resolves and documents modifications to the operating system in resolution of system malfunction
Works with all staff and clients to determine the impact of new or revised applications on existing systems software
Provides mentoring and guidance to junior staff
Provide technical assistance to clients in a professional and accommodating manner
Take a leadership role on moderately complex projects independently or as part of a larger project team
Handle multiple competing initiatives and escalate issues effectively

Position Summary The Enterprise Business Service Administrator System is responsible for the installation, upgrade, and support of operating systems and assigned software products. You will identify and resolves operating system problems and interfaces with the appropriate IS staff as required. You will provide technical assistance and direction to IS staff and clients as required. You will perform ongoing capacity analysis and tuning of the software products and operating systems to meet performance objectives. You should have: U.S. citizenship will be required for this position due to Department of Defense restrictions. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Information Technology related field; OR equivalent post high school education and/or work related experience * Specialized coursework and/or vendor training courses in assigned operating system specialty * 4 or more years in information systems performing system administration to include the skills as noted in attached skill set rider OR a combination of relevant experience and demonstrated ability to meet the Information Systems Career Ladder Competencies which include Focus, Leadership, Design/Analysis, Support/Implementation, Strategy, Budget and Analytic Ability. * In-depth knowledge of the Linux platform in support of installation and troubleshooting of application installations. * Demonstrated knowledge of frameworks and development methodologies to support Application Development * Familiarity with currently used deployment automation packages (Puppet, BigFix, etc.) * Review/Monitor Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) vendor website and other vendor forums. * Install and maintain ESB (currently Dell Boomi) software using appropriate vendor guidance. * Configuration planning and implementation of ESB server settings. * Interface with vendors during installation and in resolution of any problem. * Maintain familiarity with all ESB related security/audit requirements and controls. * Provide daily complex problem analysis/resolution using structured troubleshooting techniques to insure availability and responsiveness of systems. * Maintain knowledge of best practices for web site deployment and security. * Provide architectural design to Application Development related to infrastructure, capacity, deployment methodology, etc. * Develop and maintain all ESB related documentation to meet security/audit requirements. * Utilize monitoring/debugging tools to provide in-depth analysis of issues (performance, failures, etc.) within the ESB.
