Job Description:

Blackberry is seeking an Enterprise Sales Manager to team with internal and partner resources to effectively cultivate customer relationships and drive new business in prospective accounts for assigned territory.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage prospecting and sales activities in assigned territory with a focus on new product pipeline growth

  • Develop close plans for targeted opportunities and drive opportunities to closure

  • Develop relationships with key partners for growth of our products within their markets

  • Develop a targeted partner plan that maps partner strengths (customer relationship, contracts) to accounts and target opportunities

  • Focus on account mapping with partner reps, forming an integrated account plan and ultimately optimizing revenue in accounts and exceeding the forecast

  • Leads sales presentations at end-user locations

  • Update and manage pipeline and prepare revenue forecasts

  • Coordinate sales activities with other field sales reps and managers

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in enterprise software sales

  • Requires the ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision while maintaining focus on achieving optimal outcomes as part of a collaborative development effort

ABOVE AND BEYOND

  • Experience in endpoint or network security a plus

  • Proven track record of over achievement in attainment of quota goals

  • Self- driven and highly motivated to exceed goals

The Role The Account Manager II - Inside is responsible for growing revenue in the small to medium sized customer accounts. Primary function of sales being performed through technology and not on customer premises, the Account Manager II - Inside will develop long term, consultative relationships within customer base of accounts. The primary focus is to deepen and expand the relationship between CenturyLink and named accounts to maximize revenue and minimize loss of revenue / account churn. The Main Responsibilities * Responsible for protecting base revenue and meeting/exceeding growth quota to maximize revenue within assigned base of customers. * Responsibilities include identifying decision makers, determining customer needs, identifying appropriate solutions, and positioning these solutions with the customer. * Through customer relationship, assessing product fit and expanding product portfolio. * Responsible for updating relevant customer information - including sales funnel activity, opportunity updates, maintenance of monthly goals, customer proposals and customer contracts. * Provides superior customer services with every customer interaction. What We Look For in a Candidate Basic Qualifications: * High School diploma, GED or equivalent education and 2 years sales experience. * Prior account management experience with a history of working to retain and grow existing accounts. * Strong oral and written communication, analytical problem solving and closing skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Preferred Experience: * Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience. * Demonstrated stable track record of success in an inside/outside sales role. * Advanced understanding of technology products and solutions and knowledge of how they are interrelated. * Passion for customer service and the desire to understand and introduce new technology to customer base. * Ability to function in an unscripted capacity; requires solid interviewing / selling / persuasion skills, in addition to a strong knowledge of the company's products/services and often requires additional knowledge of competitor's products/services.
