Enterprise Sales Leader - Insurance Upsells

Clearwater Analytics is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Insurance Upsells specialist to join our growing sales team. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying upsell opportunities within our existing insurance client base. Leveraging your deep understanding of Clearwater and the insurance industry, you will cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, understand their business needs, and drive revenue.

Responsibilities:

1.Identify Upsell Opportunities: Proactively analyze existing insurance client accounts to identify opportunities for upselling additional Clearwater Analytics solutions and services.

2.Develop Strategic Account Plans: Collaborate with the Presales and SDRs to develop strategic account plans for targeted insurance clients, outlining upsell opportunities, key stakeholders, and action plans for engagement.

3.Build Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within insurance client organizations, including C-suite executives, portfolio managers, risk managers, and operations teams.

4.Understand Client Needs: Gain a deep understanding of each client's business objectives, pain points, and challenges related to investment accounting, reporting, and analytics within the insurance industry.

5.Present Solutions: Articulate the value proposition of Clearwater Analytics solutions and services to insurance clients, aligning them with their specific needs and objectives.

6.Negotiate Contracts: Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with insurance clients, ensuring mutually-beneficial agreements that drive revenue growth and long-term partnerships.

7.Collaborate Internally: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, global delivery, product management, and client services, to ensure seamless execution of upsell opportunities and exceptional client experience.

8.Track and Report Progress: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline updates, and progress towards upsell targets, providing regular reports to sales leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven success in Clearwater, preferably within the insurance vertical.

  • Deep understanding of insurance industry dynamics, including investment accounting, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover client needs, present solutions, and negotiate contracts effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with senior-level executives.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business priorities
