We offer options to work at our Hanover, Peabody, Plymouth and Norwood offices in a hybrid model. This position will report to the Enterprise Risk Strategist and Reporting Manager and work closely with various business units, IT, second line risk management and external contacts (e.g., third parties) as a program lead in the management of the New Products and Services. This includes executing New Products and Services activities, enhancements and ongoing maturity of the current Program, communications and training, process design and workflows, driving best practices with a risk-based approach, and adherence to regulatory requirements. The Program is executed within the Archer governance, risk and compliance (GRC) system.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of risk management experience at a bank similar in asset size to, or larger than, Rockland Trust, or comparable experience working at a bank regulator

  • Prior audit experience a plus

  • Prior experience in financial service product/service development or implementation a plus

  • Experience in developing, maintaining and enhancing risk reporting

  • Experience assessing Information Security, Compliance, Contract SLA's/Performance Metrics

  • Prior experience utilizing a governance, risk and compliance (GRC) system comparable to Archer

  • Prior experience documenting workflows and process playbooks with technical skills a plus; ie

  • Visio
  • Professional Risk Management or Project Management certifications a plus

  • Ability to independently complete work when needed, while collaborating with others at all levels across the organization

  • Self-motivated, organized and flexible

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enhancement of the existing New Products and Services Program, ensuring alignment with industry best practice and regulatory requirements.

  • Work closely with the Rockland Trust Project Management Office and/or other stakeholders to understand enterprise-wide project execution and ensure communication between the two programs

  • Act as a New Products and Services subject matter expert, providing advice, training and support to business units, operational areas and IT

  • Coordinate due diligence over new service providers, in collaboration with the Third Party Risk Management team and Project Management Office, and execute New Product and Services risk assessments

  • Develop and implement New Products and Services reporting, training and community of practice forums, ensuring all roles and responsibilities are understood

  • Escalate material new Products and Services issues and risks to the appropriate governing bodies and stakeholders

  • Advise business partners and leadership on New Products and Services Program requirements

  • Participate in internal audit and regulator risk management exams, and remediation of associated findings as appropriate

  • Develop and maintain internal procedures and periodic enhancement of Archer GRC system New Products and Services functionality

  • Coordinating with other ERM programs to ensure appropriate change management and/or risks identified are tracked, monitored and communicated as appropriate. Collaborate with various ERM stakeholders to create additional efficiencies in identification, risk assessment and reporting activities.

  • Assist Enterprise Risk Strategist and Reporting Manager with overall ERM projects, strategy and Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) quarterly reporting

  • Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Support

  • Lead requirements gathering exercises to understand process mapping, enterprise training, procedure, and presentation needs
  • Develop process maps using Visio, create training materials and presentations in PowerPoint, and work with stakeholders to appropriately document procedures.

  • Assist with Quality Assurance processes across ERM, as appropriate.

  • Assist with Policy, Procedure, Governance Documentation, Reporting and Charter review across ERM, as appropriate
