Reporting directly to the Penn State Health (PSH) Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, the Director of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is responsible for directing Penn State Health's (PSH) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program, including supporting the identification, evaluation, prioritization, management/mitigation, and monitoring of risks affecting the organization.
Bachelor Degree required
5 years experience in ERM, compliance, audit, risk management or similar function in a health care environment required

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to deliver high quality written and verbal presentations.

Ability to guide individuals and groups toward desired outcomes.
Strong team building skills and ability to maximize talents of team members.
Strong project management skills and ability to establish project goals, schedules, responsibilities, deliverables and to manage numerous complex projects simultaneously.
Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.
Displays a high level of initiative.
Acts as a resource for others with less experience: coaches, provides feedback and guidance.
High-level critical thinking skills, including strategic thinking, effective analysis of data, and the ability to aggregate risks across businesses into enterprise risk themes.
A strong process orientation and the ability to adapt well to, and initiate change in the organization.
Detail-oriented, with hands-on, roll-up sleeves approach.
Proven ability to work independently and assess and articulate priorities with clear outcomes in mind.
Strong PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other software tools as required.
Health care management experience
