JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Penn State Health (PSH) Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, the Director of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is responsible for directing Penn State Health's (PSH) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program, including supporting the identification, evaluation, prioritization, management/mitigation, and monitoring of risks affecting the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor Degree required
5 years experience in ERM, compliance, audit, risk management or similar function in a health care environment required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Individual models the ethical and compliant behaviors expected of PSH personnel and his/her conduct at all times conforms to the PSH Code of Conduct and all applicable policies and procedures.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to deliver high quality written and verbal presentations.

Strong interpersonal relationship skills, ability to interact effectively with all levels of PSH management and possesses a strong customer-focused orientation.

Ability to guide individuals and groups toward desired outcomes.

Strong team building skills and ability to maximize talents of team members.

Strong project management skills and ability to establish project goals, schedules, responsibilities, deliverables and to manage numerous complex projects simultaneously.

Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.

Displays a high level of initiative.

Acts as a resource for others with less experience: coaches, provides feedback and guidance.

High-level critical thinking skills, including strategic thinking, effective analysis of data, and the ability to aggregate risks across businesses into enterprise risk themes.

A strong process orientation and the ability to adapt well to, and initiate change in the organization.

Detail-oriented, with hands-on, roll-up sleeves approach.

Proven ability to work independently and assess and articulate priorities with clear outcomes in mind.

Strong PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other software tools as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced degree

Health care management experience

This is accomplished through the measurement of risk and communication of the risk management framework. JOB SUMMARY: The Cyber Risk Management Specialist (CRMS) is responsible for ensuring operational excellence of cyber security risk management activities, including but not limited to: * Performing technical risk assessments on PSH and COM Information Systems using established processes * Ensuring communication and awareness of the PSH and COM Security Risk Management framework * Ensuring cyber risks are appropriately managed within risk appetite tolerance and limits * Contributing to the aggregation and reporting of cyber risk metrics and information * Supporting cyber security strategies and reporting * Acting as a subject matter expert for cyber risk management and engaging with cross-functional teams MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * A Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology or in a related field and (10+) years of experience in cyber risk management. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Demonstrated experience in cyber security, privacy, and/or an information protection-related function * Proven understanding of cyber security risk assessment and risk management procedures and methodologies * Ability to correlate enterprise risk with appropriate administrative, physical, and technical security controls * Experience using and managing a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool * Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, standards, practices, and technologies * Strong knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements (i.e., HIPAA, PCI, etc.) * Proven strong background in cyber security and operational processes * Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail * Proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment * Ability to develop strong working relationships * Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills This job description is a general outline of duties performed and is not to be misconstrued as encompassing all duties performed within the position.
