Position Overview
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Analyst reports to the Director of Enterprise Risk Management. This role works closely with the Enterprise and Model Risk Program Manager in developing and enhancing the bank's ERM program. This role involves providing analytics, technology support, research and risk assessments across the enterprise. The position offers high visibility, working with senior leaders and exposure to various functional areas and business lines within the bank.

The Enterprise Risk Management Department is responsible for establishing and maintaining the formal risk management structure that helps the bank achieve its strategic objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field or equivalent education experience can be substituted.
Experience:
5+ years of direct experience in a risk management program or related field.
1-3 years of experience in data analytics, modeling, loss estimation, or technology development preferred.
Required Skills:
Strong critical thinking skills and practical knowledge of data analysis tools, statistical techniques, and risk management frameworks.
In-depth understanding of risk management principles, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices in the banking sector.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and business intelligence tools.
Ability to build quality Board level reporting.
Highly motivated, deadline driven, and results focused.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SharePoint.
Experience with SOX, COSO, and/or ERM Principles.
Solid project management, process implementation, and maintenance skills.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not manage employees.
Working Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, and printers.
Physical requirements: sedentary, standing, or typing
Position requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
This position requires up to 15% travel.
