Job Overview
The Enterprise Risk Analyst is expected to leverage their subject matter expertise in ERM when acting as business partner with our colleagues in the first line of responsibility when performing their daily Risk & Control Activities (RCA) in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Assist in the development and preparation of management-level reporting from a second line of responsibility (2LoR) perspective to members of the Executive Leadership Team, Risk Management Committee, ERM Committee and Board of Directors.
Responsibilities
Business Partner
Registering Operational Risk Incidents in the GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) tooling
Risk Identification and Assessment (RI/RA)
Establishing Key Risk Indicators and Key Control Indicators (KRI/KCI)
Monitoring and Reporting on Risk Profile and Risk Appetite
Performing Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)
Performing Control Self-Assessment (CSA)
Tests of design and operational effectiveness of key controls
Developing and submitting formal Risk Acceptance documentation
Ongoing maintenance and monitoring of finding and action management
Advising on New Products and Material Changes to the organization
Management Reporting
Operational Risk Incidents
Finding and Action Management
Risk Profile
Risk Appetite Statement
Control Test Results
Meeting Preparation
Preparation and distribution of monthly meeting materials
Organize and manage monthly committee meetings.
Record and distribute meeting minutes and agenda.
Follow up and track actions assigned by the committee.
Organize and manage the RMC Teams site.
Required
5+ years financial services
College degree with a focus on business management or administration
Oral and written management and board-level reporting
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Bachelor's degree with a focus on business management or administration; Masters Degree preferred.
Preferred
Risk management, internal audit or compliance
ERM specific certification(s), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
Familiarity with business units supported - Lending, IT, Finance, HR, Marketing, etc.
Project management experience

Work Environment
Individual will be required to work in an office setting as well as those conducive to the financial services industry. This may involve standing, sitting, and walking around retail/administrative facilities. Individual can expect to work in a fast-paced environment which is constantly evolving. They will have a significant amount of interaction with customers, many of whom may be upset and/or agitated because of their situation. Candidate will spend a significant amount of time assessing information contained in on-line and hard-copy reports. Physical Demands
Position may include a reasonable amount of physical activity such as lifting (max. 25lbs.), carrying, standing, walking, sitting, typing, labeling, or reading for extended periods of time. Due to the nature of this position travel may be required. This candidate must be able to provide his or her own transportation for local travel.
