Enterprise Risk Analyst
Banesco USA is seeking an Enterprise Risk Analyst for our Risk Management Team.
Primary Job Duties:
Assist the Risk Management unit in identify, assess, measure, monitor, report, and mitigate key enterprise risks such as Credit, Market, Strategic, Cyber, Fraud and Operational risks.
Responsible of supporting the Enterprise Risk functions by:
Gathering internal or external data
Conducting research on different topics (e.g., economic variables, bank and other industries, regulatory requirements and guidelines, etc.)
Conducting Data Analysis
Developing, updating, and monitoring Key Risk Indicators
Designing and automating reports and dashboards
Responsible of supporting key enterprise Risk areas/functions by:
Developing, documenting, and executing processes and ensuring the controls are effectively implemented and maintained
Developing and automating comprehensive reports for different audiences
Support in gathering and providing required information to different stakeholders
Collaborate with other departments to enhance the enterprise risk management program.
Conduct research to compare the Bank's enterprise risk management program and specific risks functions relative to industry best practices and regulatory changes to suggest actions
Support the unit in creating written reports and presentations
Adhere to Bank policies & procedures and regulatory requirements
Responsible for completing annual training program assigned
Perform other risk functions and/or duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience in the Banking industry in the Risk unit or related field.
Proficient and advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of the bank's system and processing activities.
Strong analytical skills in order to detect and identify weaknesses in the bank's systems and the ability to identify the root cause of the weakness.
Strong presentation skills to various levels of the organization.
Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills.
Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
Ability to work and complete task producing high quality results within a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of any visualization software such as Power BI or Looker Studio preferred.
Knowledge of MSSQL Server querying is a plus.
