The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill one (1) regular, full-time position in the class of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Analyst I/II at the Innovation and Technology Services Department. The combined annual salary range for both ERPAnalystlevels is $81,619 - $110,219.

Note:This recruitment will be open on a continuous basis until the position is filled. The selected candidate will be placed at either the ERP Analyst I or II level depending on the hiring department's discretion and candidate's qualifications and experience.

The Position

This position performs a variety of professional level duties in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the Countywide ERP system in response to business needs in a specific functional area, such as fiscal/accounting or human resources/payroll; and acts as a liaison between technical support staff and end users to create end user business solutions within the Countywide ERP.

The ERP Analyst classes are solely used within the Innovation and Technology Services Department, and the incumbent reports to the Enterprise Resource Planning Manager or other higher level manager.

Theideal candidate for this position

  • will be a self-motivated, highly capable, team-oriented individual that has experience supporting ERP systems.

  • must have experience conducting system analysis, analyzing business functions, workflows and recommending improvement to systems or structures to increase productivity or efficiency.

  • must demonstrate a strong desire to learn, have solid decision-making skills, and display the ability to react quickly to the everchanging technology landscape.

Employment Standards

Enterprise Resource Planning Analyst I:

Education:Graduation from an accredited college or university with a four-year degree; AND

Experience:Three (3) years increasingly responsible work experience which required expertise in one or more functional areas served by an ERP system (i.e., financial/accounting or human resources/payroll), including at least one (1) year experience interpreting and analyzing information system requirements within the assigned functional area.

Enterprise Resource Planning Analyst II:

Education:Graduation from an accredited college or university with a four-year degree;AND

Experience:One (1) year in the class of ERP Analyst I within Yolo County; or two (2) years of experience interpreting and analyzing information system requirements within the assigned functional area (i.e., financial/accounting or human resources/payroll) performing work comparable to the Yolo County class of ERP Analyst I.

License:This class requires incumbents to possess and maintain a valid California driver's license, Class C or higher, to carry out job related duties. Individuals who do not meet this requirement due to a physical or mental disability may request a reasonable accommodation.

Verification of Education

Acceptable forms of educational documentation are official/unofficial transcripts that list the student's name, institution name, field of study and date the degree was awarded. For recent graduates who have not received proof of their degree yet, a letter from the registrar's office stating that all requirements for graduation have been met and listing the field of study will be sufficient proof of graduation.

All foreign transcripts or diplomas must be in English. If the institution does not provide these documents in English, the applicant will need to provide a translation which has been done by a professional agency. The County of Yolo will accept education as equivalent to U.S. accreditation from Institutions that are listed as members of the International Association of Universities. Applicants who possess a degree or completed coursework that is not from an accredited college or university, must submit one of the following:

  • A written statement from a U.S accredited university or college that states that the applicant is qualified for entrance to a program of graduate studies for which a degree in a related field is required.

  • An evaluation of the applicant's degree and coursework equivalency by a private organization that provides foreign credential evaluation services. The evaluation must include a comparison of comparable U.S. courses for content, credit and grade.

Note:Foreign language documents must include a precise word-for-word English translation of all foreign language documents. It is the responsibility of each applicant to prove to the satisfaction of the County that the applicant meets the specific requirements listed on the job announcement for each specific examination.
