  • Youwill manage the creation, re-activation, and maintenance of Item Masters(IM).

  • Youwill manage the creation, re-activation, and maintenance of Bills of Material(BOM) using part drawings/blueprints.

  • Youwill review strategies and expected planning parameters required by thatstrategy with Supply Chain Supervisors and obtain agreement to implementoriginal or modified plan.

  • Youwill act as the administrator for review and approval of Site ChangeAuthorizations (BOM changes and IM set up); by assuring that the documentscontain a clear execution strategy for the business.

  • Youwill participate with peers and management in preparing responses to RFQ's(Customer 360) received from existing and or new customers.

  • Youwill engage in continuous improvement for processes included in and adjacent tojob role. Recognize and resolve customer satisfaction issues (both internal andexternal).

  • Youwill control and update, Item Data, Item Inventory, and Item Planningparameters.

Required (Basic)Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited university isrequired

  • Minimum one year of manufacturing, supplychain, and/or production experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BOM material management, item master setup, MRPprinciples in a manufacturing setting

  • High level of experience working with ERP systems inregards to various line function requirements.

  • Sound understanding of customer requirements, qualityrequirements, lead times.

  • Possesses excellent problem-solving skills in complexand demanding situations that undergo continuous priority changes.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Department Summary The Operational Technology (OT) Critical Infrastructure and Applications team is responsible for engineering, purchasing, implementing and maintaining various applications, desktops, servers, and network infrastructure for the business network and 24-hour real-time network supporting near-real time business operations of Consumers Energy. The team of critical infrastructure analysts has responsibility for requirements gathering, design/architecture, implementation, and maintenance of systems. The team of analysts is also responsible for the identification, testing, and installation of updates/patches, configuration changes, change management, enhancements, maintenance, preparation of system documentation, monitoring of the systems, and support of the systems. The team of analysts uses historical data and trend analysis to make capacity planning recommendations to enhance existing systems, technology, and business processes. The team of analysts ensures the performance and reliability of the system including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems as well as root-cause analysis of issues. The Critical Infrastructure and Applications team manages infrastructure and applications critical to the near-real time and market function operations of Consumers Energy. The team provides real-time critical systems support for all levels. This position will only provide business hours on-call support. Description This particular Critical Infrastructure Analyst position is intended to be System Administration/Application focused. The candidate will have full access to all network equipment, systems, and applications within Operational Technologies and they will be expected to become a Subject Matter Expert on their respective systems and/or applications. The Critical Infrastructure Applications team has a diverse set of responsibilities and with that allows significant opportunity to have individual contributor roles change responsibilities with time.
