The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will provide financial consolidations support for Enterprise R&D, including J&J Innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnering globally with the Enterprise R&D Finance and JJI Finance teams to own the consolidation and reporting of financial results including:

  • Development and socialization of standard calendars, templates, and processes

  • Integration of system and process changes in line with SigniFi initiatives

  • Responsibility for executing financial close processes including partnership with Enterprise R&D/JJI finance teams, Global Services, Corporate Consolidations, and senior Finance leadership to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant results with well-framed budget vs actual analyses

  • Lead all forecasting cycle consolidation processes, including Long Range Financial Plan

  • Global Finance functional consolidation and reporting across JJI, JBD, and Enterprise R&D

  • Lead all headcount and capital reporting activities including monthly headcount reconciliation and tracking, quarter close variance analysis, and SOX commentary

  • Support of compliance activities and reporting to Corporate/Global Services teams; ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant results reporting

  • Serving as a key partner to the JJI CFO and Sr. Director on the development of actual and forecast reporting packages for leadership reviews

  • Support of ad hoc requests including analytics and reporting

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance

  • An MBA and/or CPA, CMA or other advanced certifications are preferred

  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting and finance experience is required

  • Must possess excellent analytical (MS Excel), conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills with a compliance mentality

  • Strong accounting and internal control experience are preferred

  • Experienced professional with an ability to work independently, engage with teams, and interact with senior management is required

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for inspiring change and implementing operational improvements is required

  • This position will require up to 10% travel

This role will be the first point of contact for all Supply Chain projects and business partners to ensure thorough and complete financial integration with our established forecasting and planning requirements as well as any governance committees. Key Responsibilities include: * Advance E2E GP visibility in partnership with SC Pillar Finance teams, Commercial Finance and Supply Chain business partners * Lead quarterly actuals and forecast Business Unit reporting, lead quarterly refreshes of Fully Loaded Gross Profit (FLGP) dashboard, and deliver results through quarterly accruals and close responsibilities * Finance lead for investment committee responsible for project evaluation, approval, budgeting and tracking and represent Finance in Supply Chain PMO meetings * Coordinate with Supply Chain PMO to create and track project budgets/actuals * Partner and collaborate across SC Pillars to help drive financial commitments and influence the Long-Range Financial Plan objectives * Support new project strategic / NPV evaluation and associated financial recommendations Other Responsibilities: * Work closely with NA Supply Chain FP&A to ensure timely and accurate forecasts * Facilitate Make vs Buy / Siting Analysis, new project strategic / NPV evaluation and network trade off decisions * Support harmonization of key processes and participate in SC org health initiatives This role is a dynamic & highly impactful position at the center of key analyses & activity. Strong communication, analytical & financial analysis skills will be required. This position is highly visible within the NASC & Finance organizations, interfacing with Supply Chain & Finance leaders regularly.
