Voya Financial is seeking a top candidate to join our Enterprise Project Management Office in our Windsor, CT office. This analytical position will work with both the technical team and the business users to test and document standard usage scenarios related to Voya's Project Management software application. The responsibilities include:
Develop and modify IT solutions for business issues related to Voya's Project Management software application
Collaborate with end users and members of the technical teams to define, document and review business requirements
Test standard usage scenarios, document results and issues that must be addressed to achieve the desired results
Testing and documentation may include reports developed in Excel, Tableau and Jaspersoft
Schedule and coordinate meeting participants and agendas and document meeting outcomes
Perform some light Project Management duties such as updating project plans, tracking issues and risks and creating email, Power Point or other communications to project stakeholders
Participate and contribute in all team and project meetings
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or related business fields
Minimum 3.0 GPA is required
Must be able to work well independently once given direction
Must have a high tolerance for ambiguity and be comfortable with frequent change
Strong listening and time-management skills.
Highly functional user of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Aptitude and desire to learn project management practices based on PMI standards
Aptitude and desire to learn software applications such as Clarity PPM and Tableau
Ability to take a large amount of seemingly disjointed information and break it down to meaningful summarized bullet points
Available to work 40 hours/week in the summer (10-12 weeks)
