NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Enterprise Project Manager to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).


The Project Manager manages performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and other key project management activities and behaviors. This person leads effective workgroups, assigns tasks, identifies issues, escalates risks, follows up and reports status as required.


  • Schedule Management
  • Creates, manages, and understands impacts to project scope, constraints and schedule. Manages projects according to work plan. Performs critical path analysis.
  • Cost Management
  • Develops and routinely reassesses project budgets to account for variances and ensures accuracy. Creates budget reports to compare actual with forecasted costs.
  • Communication Management
  • Creates performance and status reports for relevant stakeholders.
  • Risk & Issue Management
  • Develops and manages project risk and issue management plans. Analyzes risks by probability and severity to assess their impact on project delivery. Implements procedures to mitigate risk threats. Utilizes available tools for identifying and tracking issues such as the Delivery Risk Assessment, risk workshops, and Clarity.
  • Resource Management Develops project organization chart and governance structures. Defines roles and responsibilities of team members.

  • Quality Management Defines processes and standards around governance, communication, and quality. Develops deliverable acceptance plans and criteria.

  • Change Request Management

  • Identifies and develops strategy for changes in scope, schedule, and cost. Develops strategic rationale for change including costs, benefits, tradeoffs, etc.
  • Implementation and Transition Management
  • Creates transition plan, identifies lessons learned, and applies the lessons learned to future projects.
  • Integration Management
  • Identifies and manages project and program interdependencies.
  • Establish program objectives; develop requirements, plan schedules and estimate cost.

  • Balance stakeholder needs and effectively negotiate tradeoffs between scope, schedule, and budget. Balance needs of multiple stakeholders and gains buy-in from groups who may be resistant to change.


  • 5+ years of project management disciplines, best practices and artifacts

  • Solid understanding and demonstrated Project Management of both SDLC and SCRUM methodology

  • Must have at least 3 years' experience managing a team of people

  • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to learn subject matter quickly

  • Experience in developing risk mitigation plans

  • Familiarity with financial services business and products

  • Flexible and adaptive, able to work in ambiguous situations

  • Understand the relationship of their project(s) to the overall program

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills.

  • Strong ability to motivate, direct and lead others.

  • PMP/CAPM certification suggested but not required

This position will lead, support, monitor, and manage effective project delivery; communications at team level, and facilitate problem solving and provide recommendations to prevent reoccurrence. This position will demonstrate a solid understanding of project management process and procedures, and will motivate the assigned project team members. This position will work with all stakeholders in the organization, create a master schedule and monitor project(s) to ensure that accurate information is communicated in a clear and concise manner, to ensure that the deliverables remain on-time. Essential Functions: * Manages small to medium sized projects from initiation to completion. * Ensures enterprise project management standards, methodology and best practices are followed and consistently applied. * Leads project teams and related implementation activities through all project phases. * Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the project roadmap is defined and captured in the project plan. * Communicates project status, progress on deliverables, and risks/issues to stakeholders and leadership in a timely manner. * Acts as a liaison between business and technical staff at team level. * Confident and concise communication skills, learning to tailor messages to peers, managers, customers and stakeholders. * Maintains relationships with key business and IT stakeholders. * Understands the business process viewpoint during issue reviews, planning and implementation sessions. * Responsible for understanding and ensuring portfolio Kanban Boards are up to date and accurate with an actual visual Kanban board and/or within Rally. * Drives the appropriate level of project governance to ensure risks, issues and critical dependencies are being addressed. * Communicates projects status, progress on deliverables, and risks/issues to stakeholders and teams in a timely manner. * Experience with project planning, issue and risk management; resolves project issues and works with project team to identify risk mitigation plan. * Manages project scope, budget and change control process. * Assists with analysis, design, testing, system documentation and user training. * Develops and maintains a detailed understanding of business processes and applications, requirements, customer needs and priorities. * Manages all aspects of the project plan from inception to deployment including operational and cross-functional teams support. Provides leadership and motivation to project team. * Accountable for project artifacts including Microsoft Project Plan, Issues logs, Risk Assessments, meeting minutes and any other documents required by the Portfolio Program Management Office including proper storage and access. Other Functions: * Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. * May assist in other related departments as required by business needs. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree is preferred. * Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification is preferred. * Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is preferred. * SAFe Agilist certification is preferred. * Five (5) + years' experience in enterprise project management in an IT software development environment. * Minimum four (5) years' experience in business process analysis, project management or process management required. * Strong knowledge of project management tools and processes. Strong Microsoft Project experience and ability to create and maintain project plans of various sizes. * Ability to manage small to medium size projects from initiation to completion. * Two (2) + years' experience running projects using agile methodology. * Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to successfully influence within project team. * Good presentation skills and experience of presenting to team level. * Demonstrated strong time management and leadership skills. * Track record of successfully delivering projects by developing strong relationships, demonstrating core project management principles, and effectively driving key measures via metrics and reporting. * Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience. * Ability to maintain confidentiality. * Ability to facilitate problem solving and provide recommendations to prevent reoccurrence * Time management skills with strong attention to details; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet assigned project deadlines in a timely manner. * Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment. * Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate excellent collaboration skills. * Ability to build strong partnerships with other IT teams and business customers. * Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members. * Experience in Auto Finance or other finance industries preferred.
