JOB INFORMATION

Examine, assess, and document business operations and procedures of operating or administrative unit. Relate these procedures to IT/IS systems and applications that are designed to enable the operating unit to accomplish its objectives. Assist operating unit staff by developing reports, downloads, and analyses from discipline-specific systems and applications. Provide input to IT/IS specialists in development projects to assist in developing specifications and functionalities in IT systems.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Manage a team of business analysts whose responsibility is to become thoroughly familiar with the business or operational processes of a business unit office, so that these can be translated into business requirements for existing or new IT/IS applications.

  • Participate in planning or project meetings in which the application development process is in early stages of defining business requirements. Ensure that the requirements of the client office(s) are thoroughly and completely represented.

  • Conduct or oversee the development of detailed business definition and requirement development and their documentation for multiple applications.

  • Plan, document, manage, and evaluate the performance of subordinate staff. Provide professional/ technical development opportunities through assignments, mentoring, and training opportunities.

  • Ensure that the process of business requirement definition is high quality, is documented, and is consistent with corporate standards of internal controls and auditability.

  • Coordinate with management and staff engaged in application development, coding, testing, user acceptance testing and production to ensure that business requirements are consistently represented and satisfied.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
6-8 years of related experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Product Owner accountable for all EPMO Project Portfolio Management financial and data driven processes, extracts and models. Accountable for all integrations of PPM systems to financial subsystems Experience with COTS tools, with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Agile tools preferred. (Eg., Planview, Project Server, HPM, Jira, Leankit) Strong understanding of project financial accounting practices, resource management and data management principles a must Experience leading data conversions and data migrations Strong understanding of relational database concepts, SQL Expert in excel and statistical analysis Experience with SSRS, PowerBI, Tableau a plus Critical thinking skills, sound judgment, analytical acumen, data analysis, strong written and oral communications a must

The MERM will be responsible to run the organization's annual risk assessment, including the collection of data supporting risk assessment metrics and the maintenance of the ERM dashboard. The MERM will be responsible for classification and coding of ERM events. The MERM will implement education on enterprise risk issues throughout the organization. The MERM will be responsible for staffing the Enterprise Risk Management Committee meetings. The MERM will integrate data from incidents into staff training. The MERM will be responsible to conduct CCA analysis on all ERM events and to use the CCA data to drive enterprise risk management activities of the organization. Minimum Education Master's Degree - Emphasis in Enterprise Risk Management (Required) Master's or Undergraduate degree in accounting or business (Preferred) Minimum Work Experience 5 years of related and progressive experience. (Required) Healthcare finance background. Internal audit/accounting experience. Knowledge of high reliability business practices required. (Preferred) Required Skills/Knowledge Extensive and advanced knowledge of enterprise risk and data analysis focusing on human factors and high reliability. Functional Accountabilities Enterprise Risk Management 1. Manage and complete annual organizational risk assessment update 2. Manage all classification and coding of events 3. Manage monthly Enterprise Risk Management Committee meetings 4. Ensure timely reporting of events with litigation potential to Chief Risk Officer 5. Lead ACA and RCA work on enterprise risk issues in conjunction with process owners Enterprise Risk Management Education 1. Respond to enterprise risk management questions from staff in a timely manner. 2. Oversee and manage enterprise risk education throughout organization. 3. Manage process of collection, analysis and presentation of all enterprise risk data. 4. Integrate enterprise risk data into staff education. 5. Educate process owners on the performance of risk assessments and ACA/RCA work. Data Analysis and Action 1. Manage process of CCA work on all enterprise risk data 2. Develop action plans to address risks identified by CCA analysis results. 3. Maintain and improve ERM dashboard 4. Develop and present ERM metrics to leadership as directed 5. Analyze and report on human factors aspects of data analysis and integrate results into risk mitigation plans throughout the organization. 6. Lead the organization in developing a set of hardwired reliability tools for enterprise risk and business exposures and instruct process owners on their use; measure metrics on improvements from implementation and report to leadership.
