UK HealthCare is transforming the peer review process. The Enterprise Peer Review Specialist will report to the Medical Staff Affairs Associate Director and collaborate with the Chief of Medical Staff together with medical staff and hospital leaders. This position will also work with other healthcare professionals in implementing peer review initiatives designed to develop goals and objectives to improve quality of care and meet state, federal, Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies' requirements.
This role will play an essential role in successful implementation of the peer review process. The ideal applicant will have significant experience with medical records review, data extrapolation and report building.
Direct collaboration with clinical and administrative stakeholders will be critical to provide, define and prioritize needs in accordance with UK HealthCare goals and objectives. This position is in a meticulous, fast-paced and continuously evolving work environment. The ability to be objective, multi-task, be proactive, prioritize, and consistently follow standard operating processes is crucial.

Strong analytical skills and effective negotiation abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, as well as extended hours as needed.
