Job Summary

The Enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) Team Lead coordinates mobile device administrators who work to maintain, support, enhance, and deliver the MNIT Mobile Device Management service.

As a lead worker, you will maintain and build competency among the team through strategic assignment of tasks that promote learning, cross-training and knowledge transfer, as well as personal and professional growth opportunities. Through the establishment and improvement of repeatable processes and procedures the, you will ensure consistent service delivery, customer service, incident management, issue resolution, and vendor engagement outcomes.

As a member of the MDM team, this position works with vendors, architects and other technical resources to ensure that the MNIT MDM service operates according to design specifications and complies with relevant MNIT Security, Application Development, and other applicable standards and policies.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Serve as a senior resource and act as a mentor to team members

  • Coordinate individual team member assignments and work queues

  • Track overall team and individual performance metrics

  • Establish, maintain, and promote policies, standards, and processes related to Enterprise MDM Service administration and support

  • Serve as a representative to governance, standards, and SME leadership groups

  • Act as initial point of contact for intra or inter team escalations

  • Monitor Enterprise MNIT ticketing system and personal work queue, managing tickets according to MNIT and workgroup define processes

  • Act as a point of escalation for Enterprise Service Desk and Tailored Service staff across the Executive Branch for advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution

  • Configure and manage MDM related toolset such as Airwatch, Intune, and Bomgar

  • Test, troubleshoot, and resolve Airwatch and Intune related issues

  • Test, troubleshoot, and resolve mobile device related issues

  • Lead Enterprise Critical-1 incidents to successful resolution

  • Deliver operational maintenance and improvement projects

  • Serve as a senior resource for MINT PMO Projects

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume:

Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of mobile device management experience that includes:

Experience with Airwatch or Intune for Enterprise MDM administration, configuration, and device support

Experience conducting technical walkthroughs focused on optimization, diagnostics, and issue resolution

Senior level troubleshooting skills

  • A Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field substitutes for three years of experience, OR related Bachelor's degree substitutes for two years, OR related Associate's degree substitutes for one year.

Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and a criminal history verification
