The Enterprise Item Data Change Management Manager will be responsible for supporting the change management strategy and execution for all Enterprise Item Data initiatives and information system implementations. This role will support a team focused on business process improvements and system related changes to the Enterprise Item Data application and other emerging technologies. The primary focus will be creating and implementing change management plans to maximize awareness and increase positive associate engagement. Change Management activities can include updating user guides, SOPs, delivering presentations, creating process maps and providing user training.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
40% Manage multiple enterprise-item related capital projects by integrating and leading the efforts of a broad range of contributors, ensuring that all necessary project deliverables are complete on time and within budget. Work closely with management to gain approval for initiatives.
20% Act as the integrator across the range of program contributors including internal groups, vendors, IT and third party software providers by identifying and managing dependencies across disparate workstreams and mitigating overall risk to the program success.
20% Design and review practical, realistic project plans and hold project teams accountable for execution and quality of projects.
20% Maintain quality and fiscal control of projects. Provide metrics, measurement, evaluation and reporting as needed in support of capital projects. Track projects from inception through implementation.

NATURE AND SCOPE

Position reports to Sr. Manager, Enterprise Item Data

Number of direct reports is 2-5.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business experience, preferably in Ecommerce, Retail, or Management Consulting

  • 5+ years change management experience developing and implementing change management practices (i.e. impact analysis, business readiness, adoption and sustainability)

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence a wide range of people and teams to create movement towards common goals

  • Strong planning and project management skills including multi-tasking, work prioritization, meeting deadlines and operating under pressure

  • Experience with project lifecycles and project implementations, specifically change management aspects

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and experience presenting to large and small groups; ability to create presentation materials

  • Embraces change and adjusts quickly to altering work demands

  • Ability to think strategically and work in fast paced environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Strong planning & project management skills including multi-tasking, work prioritization, meeting deadlines and operating under pressure

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence a wide range of people and teams and create movement toward common goals.

The Change Management, Sr Analyst - Enterprise Item Data will be responsible for supporting the change management strategy and execution for all Enterprise Item Data initiatives and information system implementations. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES * Represents the Merchandising function in business process evaluation, procedural development, systems requirements definition and systems functional design. * Project/Initiative Management--Partners with senior and department management and cross-functional teams in determining and defining business need/requirements; project plans, risk assessments, communication, implementation, training and change management * Manages the business and project team expectations including addressing project issues, changes; May directly supervise staff members in the development, implementation and support of applications and business processes to meet the client's business requirements. * Driving the requirements gathering efforts for a project (either development or implementation), including managing the expectations of the project manager, the stakeholders, the project team and executive management. * Proposing alternatives and solutions to requirements management for each project that most closely aligns with the specific timetables, objectives and business issues at hand. * Consulting with cross-functional managers, project managers, management and customers to ensure that all projects undertaken adequately address requirement related issues. Understanding the business case behind all projects, including the motivating factors for all stakeholders. Working with the Business Manager to analyze all potential opportunities to enhance, improve and refine the requirements gathering processes. * Establishes and reports on metrics of assigned projects to gauge business value (ROI).; Audits and evaluates implemented projects (systems/processes, for example) to support continuous improvement opportunities.
