A career in our Emerging Solution Architecture practice, within Enterprise Architect services, will provide you with the opportunity to bring our clients a competitive advantage through defining their technology objectives, assessing solution options, and devising architectural solutions that help them achieve both strategic goals and meet operational requirements. We help build software and design data platforms, manage large volumes of client data, develop compliance procedures for data management, and continually researching new technologies to drive innovation and sustainable change. Our team helps our clients plan, align, and enable relationships among all work streams of the business. As part of our team, you'll help with technology strategy, enterprise architecture delivery, and specific software development for our clients needs.


As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

  • Train and lead staff

  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Demonstrates proven thorough knowledge of and success in roles as a functional team member assisting clients in the consultation, design implementation and support of technical solutions and improving business processes, which includes the following:

  • Understanding various application based solutions in one or more specific modules, as well as the common Industry issues facing clients.

  • Participating in proposal development efforts for client engagement opportunities

Demonstrates proven thorough abilities to design, build, test and deploy technical solutions across various applications, including assisting with technical efforts that involve the development, design, implementation and support of business processes.

Demonstrated proven thorough abilities and success in roles with identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.

Demonstrates proven thorough abilities as a team leader: creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members.

Demonstrates proven thorough abilities to write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management, which includes whitepapers, studies and client briefings

The General Mills Technology Strategy organization is currently in the process of developing our hybrid cloud strategy and roadmap. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Partner with solutions architects, infrastructure engineers, data architects, cyber security and product teams to develop General Mills' cloud strategy & roadmaps including strategies for cloud integration, governance & adoption. * Lead the development of reference technology architecture for cloud adoption. * Participate in the evaluation, implementation and deployment of processes & capabilities to advance General Mills' cloud strategy. * Communicate General Mills cloud strategy & roadmaps to technology and business leaders. * Collaboratively lead the transformation of General Mills' Infrastructure, Security, Data & Software engineering & deployment capabilities in preparation for cloud adoption. * Acts as a leader and advocate of IT Architecture, including coaching and training staff. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree required; Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering preferred. * 5 years of IT Architecture experience. * Hands-on experience deploying enterprise solutions to the public cloud. * Experience with concepts, processes & tools required for cloud adoption including cloud security, governance and integration. * Experience developing & rolling out hybrid-cloud strategies and roadmaps. * Proven ability to work with cross functionally with global teams. * Strong relationship management and leadership skills. * Effective verbal and written communication and influencing skills. * Ability to research, plan, organize, lead, and implement new processes and strategies. * Comfort with informing, influencing, and presenting to senior leadership PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Software Development experience. * Infrastructure Engineering experience. * Experience with agile techniques and methods. * Familiarity with DevOps & CI/CD concepts and tools. * Familiarity with Data & Analytics concepts and tools. * Familiarity with modern Software Engineering principles. #cb DCGM General Mills, Inc.
